Maintenance

a) The machine is designed and built to guarantee continuous
operation; however, the life of its components depends on the
maintenance performed;
b) when requesting assistance or spare parts, identify the ma-
chine (model and serial number) by reading the dataplate lo-
cated on the unit.

General instructions

Before any maintenance, make sure:
S the pneumatic circuit is no longer pressurized;
S the dryer is no longer powered.

Always use the Manufacturer's original spare parts: other-
wise the Manufacturer is relieved of all liability regarding ma-
chine malfunctioning.

In case of refrigerant leakage, contact qualified and author-
ized personnel.

The Schrader valve must only be used in case of machine
malfunction: otherwise any damage caused by incorrect refriger-
ant charging will not be covered by the warranty.

The pre--- filter element is to be replaced every 12 months.

Preventive maintenance

To guarantee lasting maximum dryer efficiency and reliability:

a)
every 6 months or 4000 operating hours:
S clean the condenser fins;
S make sure compressor electrical absorption is within the
dataplate values;

b)
every 12 months or 8000 operating hours --- further to
a):
S replace filter element of pre--- filter;
Z
c)
every 36 months or 24000 operating hours --- further to
a), and b):
S replace high pressure switch (HP);
S replace fan contactor (KM1);
S replace fuses (FU1, FU2);
S replace high dew point temperature sensor (B1).

Refrigerant
Charging: any damage caused by incorrect refrigerant replace-
ment carried out by unauthorized personnel will not be covered
by the warranty.

At normal temperature and pressure, the R407C, R134a re-
frigerant is a colourless gas classified in SAFETY GROUP A1 ---
EN378 (group 2 fluid according to Directive PED 97/23/EC).

In case of refrigerant leakage, ventilate the room.

Dismantling
The refrigerant and the lubricating oil contained in the circuit
must be recovered in conformity with current local environmen-
tal regulations.
