Set up the laser 2 ft. (60 cm) from a wall (a) or a pole and 100 ft. (30
m) from another wall or pole (b).
Turn the laser on.
After the laser has self-leveled, stop the rotation and mark the location
of the beam (center of the beam) on the near wall (a), using the
detector if ambient conditions are too bright.
Rotate the laser 180° and mark the location of the center of the beam
on the far wall (b).
Now set up the laser 2 ft (60 cm) from the far wall. When the laser has
self-leveled, line up the beam on the previous mark (b).
Mark the location of the beam on the wall near the first mark (a).
Compare the two measurements. If the difference between aa'-bb' is
more than 1/4" or 6 mm, contact your local Wacker service center.
