Manufacturer's warranty claims based on material and production faults are dealt with accor-
ding to the following warranty conditions:
1. Warranty is available for defects caused by material and production faults only. It excludes
defects caused through frequent use, e.g., scratches on the sole plate, and faulty power
connections and mains supply, which have been caused by improper use or external force.
2. The manufacturer reserves the right to replace or repair the defective parts before the
warranty expiry date free of charge. Further claims, in particular for damages, are
excluded.
3. The warranty period is not extended as a result of claims made on the warranty. This also
applies to parts which have been replaced or repaired.
4. Where an appliance has been repaired or fitted by unauthorised persons or service centres,
the warranty becomes invalidated.
5. Damage in transit is excluded from the warranty.
6. Any damage or defects present at the time of sale must be advised immediately on
unpacking the goods and no later than two days after the date of purchase.
If the appliance has been used for a purpose other than that for which it is intended or if it has
been operated incorrectly or in violation of the instructions during the manufacturer's warranty
period, no liability will be accepted for any damage caused and the manufacturer's warranty will
be invalidated. In the case of a warranty claim, the manufacturer reserves the right to decide
whether the appliance is to be repaired or whether you will receive a new appliance.
You can continue to use our Customer Service for your repair needs after the manufacturer's
warranty period has expired. (Please always phone our Customer Service to arrange any repairs
beforehand).
Our Hotline can also provide further ironing tips and advice and assist you with a remote diagno-
sis should you encounter any problems.
