Liege Belgian waffles recipe
Ingredients
750gr. Pastry flour
250ml. warm whole milk
60gr. fresh yeast
5 eggs
1 pinch of salt
20gr. Vanilla sugar
400gr. of butter or in its defect 200gr. of margarine and 200gr. of butter
400gr. pearl sugar or lump sugar
Preparation
1. Dilute the yeast with the milk.
2. Make the paste with all the ingredients, except the butter and pearl sugar.
3. Let stand 20 minutes.
4. Add the butter and pearl sugar and mix well.
5. Make the balls of more or less 100gr.
6. Let the dough rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
