RANGE OF USE

Protective helmets for industry are to protect the top part of the head of the wearer from falling
objects and resulting cerebral lesions and/or fractures of the skull. The helmets are, in fact, designed
to absorb the impact of a knock by either destroying or partially damaging the top of the helmet or
the strap. Even if such damage might not be instantly visible, any helmet subject to a bad knock must
be replaced immediately.
Important note: This level of protection is applicable only for the part of the wearer's body for which
it has been designed – the head. The helmet provides no protection for the neck or any other part of
the head it does not cover. To protect the other parts of the body adequately, other suitable protection
equipments must be worn (PPE).

HOW TO WEAR AND ADJUST THE HELMET
For the helmet to give proper protection it must be adapted and adjusted to the size of the wearer's
head. Before putting the helmet on, turn the ratchet knob under the nape anticlockwise until the band
is as wide as it can be. Put the helmet on and adjust the strap.
The helmet must always be low at the front to protect the forehead.
Adjust as follows:
- adjust the length of the band by turning the ratchet knob clockwise until it is the size wanted.
Do not tighten too much.
- vary the height of the vertical fit, choosing one of the 4 positions of the snap-in pin mechanism.
This guarantees an excellent fit to the shape and size of your head, corresponding to a circumference
ranging between 51 and 63cm.
When the internal strap is adjusted properly it ensures that the helmet sits firmly on the head,
