Caution: Never wear anything under the helmet.
Note: To ensure the strap has been fitted perfectly, each plastic buckle must be put into its own slot
inside, under the top of the helmet.
For the chinstrap on the other hand, insert its fastenings in the side holes inside the cap of the
helmet.
With the helmet on, adjust the length of the chinstrap by means of the buckle so it is comfortably
tight under your chin.
The adjustment of the helmet must be checked each time it is put on.
MAINTENANCE
Regularly check the helmet for any visible damage.
The helmet must be thoroughly checked each time before it is worn. If you see signs of ageing or
mechanical and/or chemical damage, do not use the hat. Even if you have any doubts, replace the
helmet immediately.
After use: if the helmet is dirty or contaminated (oil, paint, tar, etc.), particularly on the outside, it must
be cleaned. Never leave the helmet contaminated if it is going to be used again. To clean proceed as
explained below.
CLEANING
The helmet should be cleaned regularly. The shape of the helmet and the materials it is made with
make cleaning and maintenance easier.
Use lukewarm water and a neutral detergent to clean it. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Do not dry in
the sun or near heat sources.
Never use solvents, very hot water or abrasive products.
Remove the strap from the top to make it easier to clean inside.
STORAGE AND PRESERVATION
The helmets are packed in cardboard boxes.
They must be kept in their original packaging, in a clean and dry place, away from heat sources and
direct sunlight. They must be kept far from chemical substances (organic vapours), solvents and
abrasives. Do not put any weight on the packaging.
EXPIRY DATE
If the maintenance and storage recommendations are followed and if has not been damaged, the
helmet retains its protective characteristics for a very long time. However, the maximum life of a
helmet, even if kept and used correctly, is 5 years from the date of manufacture.
Note: The date of manufacture is stamped on the visor of each helmet (month/year).
IMPORTANT
The helmet must only be used for the risks foreseen in this information note.
The safety characteristics indicated are ensured only if the helmet is worn and adjusted correctly
and is in perfect condition. The protective characteristics are altered if the helmet has been modified
without authorisation. The only accessories that can be applied on the helmets are the original
manufacturer's accessories.

If it is necessary to replace some accessories, the wearer can do it himself quite easily without the
need for any special tools. The manufacturer is unaware of any allergenic substances.
The materials used to make the strap that touches the skin cause no irritation as far as we know.
However, if any kind of allergic reaction is noticed, stop using the helmet and seek medical advice.
NOTES
The helmet must be disposed of in compliance with the local regulations in force on this subject
(dump, incinerator). In the case of manufacturing defects this PPE will be replaced.
