MOUNTING
REQUIRED ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS
The following tool components are required for assembly of the wishbone bushing:
Mounting adaptor (3), Mounting adaptor (4), Threaded bolt (6), Nut (5)
ATTENTION
Bushing (B) has a bead and a spigot.
The mounting adaptor (3) is equipped with a recess for bead and a recess for spigot for this
purpose. When assembling, make sure the bead, spigot and recesses are properly aligned with the
marking on the axle part.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before installing a new bushing, clean the inside of the housing.
2. For correct positioning of the bushing, the recess in the mounting adaptor (3) must be aligned
with the spigot of the new bushing (Fig. 2+3).
3. Align the bushing with the marking on the wishbone (Fig. 3). Mount the nut (5) on the threaded
bolt.
4. Check the correct alignment of the bushing and tool and turn the nut clockwise with a 24 mm
wrench. The bushing will now pulling into the wishbone. Note: If you feel unexpected
resistance, check the correct aligning of the tool and bushing again.
5. Continue turning the nut to install the bushing. The bushing is completely installed, when
resistance is felt and the bushing is seated as shown in Figure 5.
6. Dismantle the tool, clean the thread and lubricate.
7. Mount the wishbone according to the vehicle manufacturer's installation instructions.
