AFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. The device must never be placed in a wet or moist environment.

Use a moist cloth to clean the device. Do not use solvents.
2. Never bring the unit into direct contact with fire, gas,

oxygen or hot objects such as cooker hotplates.
Protect the rechargeable battery from heat, e.g., also from

continual sun light and fire.

3. Use the rotation speed control with care.
4. Switch off the unit before changing the rotation direction.

5. Switch off the unit before changing filing bits.
6. Take every possible precaution not to drop the hand unit or

damage it in any other way.

7. Should problems with the hand unit arise, please send it in
for repair right away.

8. Do not wash or lubricate the hand unit.

9. When storing the unit, insert the test bit into the chuck.
10. An electrical appliance is not a children's toy. Children can
not recognize the potential dangers involved in using electri-
cal appliances. You should, therefore, always use and keep
the unit in a place where it is out of the reach of children.
11. Never pull or carry the unit by the mains lead. When
unplugging the unit from the mains outlet, do so by hand-
ling the plug, never the cable.
12. Do not let the mains lead get dragged over or caught on
sharp edges, do not leave it dangling or let it rest on or
hang over hot objects (e.g. cooker hot plates) or naked
flames, and protect it from heat and oil.
13. Only use extension leads after making sure that they are
not damaged in any way.
