SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• See "Safety Instructions" manual, supplied with this
instruction manual.
• WARNING! The dust produced when milling asbestos
and/or silica stone materials is dangerous to health.
Follow the insurance company's safety instructions
regarding the responsibility of employees.
• For your personal safety, always connect the machine
to a mains supply protected by a differential and ther-
mal cutout switch, in accordance with regulations on
low-voltage wiring sitemaps.
• Do not pierce the motor housing as this could damage
the double insulation (use adhesive labels).

• Always unplug the machine before carrying out
work on it.
• Always stop the machine by switching it off, not by
unplugging it.
• WARNING! Before each use, inspect the plug and
lead. Should they need replacing, have this done by an
official service centre.
• Always keep the mains lead clear of the working range
of the machine.
• Only plug the machine in when it is switched off.
• Hold the machine firmly in both hands and in a stable
position.
• When working with the machine, always wear safety
goggles and ear protection. Other personal protec-
tion equipment such as dust masks, gloves, helmet
and apron should be worn when necessary, along
with non-slip safety footwear. A dust mask is required
when the dust from the material deburred, such as
paint or other coating, is harmful. If in doubt, use
safety equipment.
• Make sure the vents are free when working with
dust. If they require cleaning, first unplug the ma-
chine, do not use metal objects and avoid damag-
ing internal parts.
• Do not allow the machine to get wet, nor should it be
used in wet environments.
• Check for correct piece fixing before commencing any
operation.
• Only milling heads with acceptable revolutions that are
at least the same as the maximum off-load revolutions
of the machine should be used.
• The milling head shaft diameter should match the
inside diameter of the tool-holder (locking clip).
• It should be ensured that the milling head is firmly held
in place before the machine is operated.
• The milling head should only be brought into contact
with the work-piece after it has been switched on.
• Hold the machine firmly in both hands and in a stable
position.
• The milling machine must never be used on metal
objects, such as nails and screws.
• Hand must be kept clear of the milling machine while it
is operating.
• The cutting depth must never be adjusted with the
motor running. A mistake in this time could lead to
personal injury and/or damage to the milling head or
work-piece.
• The operator should remain alert and keep the milling
head apart from all objects during operation.
• The motor must be allowed to come to completely stop
before being put to one side between uses.
• The milling heads should not be touched after use
because they could cause serious burns.
