3. USE GUIDELINES
The crane scale is a device designed to weigh components
suspended from the scale hook.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
unintended use of the device.
3.1. DEVICE DESCRIPTION
3.1.1. MAIN DISPLAY
[ADD/INPUT] – Use this button to add weight of the load.
Use this function only when the device is in the
manual mode.
[DIV.SHI/<] – Use this button to select a resolution. If the
minimum scales resolution value is set, the [DIV.SHI]
LED will be off.
[HOLD/^] – Use this button to maintain the current weight
displayed. The [HOLD] LED will light up. To turn
off the temporary hold function, press the [HOLD]
button again.
[ZERO] – Use this button to reset the current displayed
value.
3.1.2. CONTROL PANEL
[AUTO] – The LED is on when the scale is in the automatic
adding mode.
[LOB] – The LED is on when the voltage is less than 6V.
[DIV.SHI] – The LED is on when it informs the user that the
current division value is equal to or smaller than the
minimum resolution of the scales.
[HOLD] – The LED is on when it informs the user the device
is in temporary standby mode.
Rev. 16.08.2021
[STAB] – The LED is on when it informs the user the
resulting weight data is stable.
3.1.3. PILOT
[Sw/<] – to perform the division change as [DIV.SHI/<] key
on the display panel.
[Hold/^ – to hold the set values.
[Zero] – to reset the currently displayed value to [ZERO] on
the display panel.
[+/Bl] – to execute the ADD/INPUT function as [ADD/

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The temperature of environment must not be higher than
40°C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device
is being used. There should be at least 10 cm distance
between each side of the device and the wall or other
objects. The device should always be used when positioned
on an even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface, and
be out of the reach of children and persons with limited
mental and sensory functions. Position the device such that
you always have access to the power plug. The power cord
connected to the appliance must be properly grounded
and correspond to the technical details on the product
label.
3.3. DEVICE USE
3.3.1. TURNING THE DEVICE ON
1.
To turn on the device, turn the switch at the back of
the device to ON.
2.
The device will display the version number followed
by the maximum weighing capacity.
3.
The device will then count down from „99999" to
„00000". The counting down will be visible on the
display.
4.
The device will self-test using
a reset sequence
alternating turning the LEDs on and off. Eventually,
the device will go into standby mode.
3.3.2. INITIAL RESET
After it is switched on, the device enters the weighing
mode, and the display shows the „0" kg. value. If the display
does not show the desired value, it is usually due to an
overload with respect to the allowed initial value in the zero
range. If this is the case, switch the device off, restart it and
select the desired parameter.
