• The specifi ed values are emission values and they do not therefore also represent
safe workplace values. Although there is a correlation between emission and immis-
sion levels, it cannot reliably be inferred from this whether additional precautionary
measures are necessary or not. Factors which infl uence the current immission level

e.g. the number of machines and other working processes taking place nearby. The
