SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Any unauthorised tampering with
any part of the machine is strictly
forbidden renders the guarantee null and
void and relieves the manufacturer of any
liability should the machine malfunction
and injure the user.
The appliance may be used by per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities or with insufficient experi-
ence and/or skills if they are supervised or
trained in the safe use of the appliance and
aware of the dangers they face.
This appliance can be used by children aged
8 and over who are supervised or educated in
its safe use and if they are aware of the dan-
gers they face.
Cleaning and normal maintenance must not
be carried out by children unless they are over
8 years of age and are supervised.
Keep the appliance and power cord out of
reach of children under the age of 8.
Children should not play with the appliance.
ELECTRICAL HAZARD
The use and cleaning operations must
comply with the safety regulations:
The socket, to which the machine must be con-
nected, must be:
• conforms to the type of plug installed in it;
• sized to comply with the information of
the plate on the appliance;
• connected to an efficient earthing system.
The connection to the electricity grid must be
carried out in conformity with the safety regu-
lations in force in the country of use.

• Do not touch the appliance with wet/
damp hands or feet.
• Do not use the appliance barefooted.
• Do not use the appliance in rooms with
showers, bathrooms or in areas where a
jet of water may be used.
• Do not pull the power cord to disconnect
the appliance.
• Do not use the machine if the plug, power
cord or machine is damaged.
• The appliance's power cord must not be
replaced by the user. If the cord is dam-
aged, turn off the machine and contact a
Authorized Service Center.
• Do not leave the appliance exposed to
atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.).
• Do not remove the guards and/or parts of
the frame, and to not access the interior of
the machine.
• Do not pour liquids onto the machine or
use water jets when cleaning.
• Do not allow the electric cable to become
crushed and/or come into contact with
sharp surfaces.
• Do not immerse the machine, power out-
let or power cord in water.
• Do not use extension cords or multiple
sockets.
HIGH TEMPERATURE HAZARD
Some parts of the machine can reach
high temperatures and cause burns; therefore,
the following precautions must be taken:
• During the cleaning operations, the ma-
chine must be turned off and you must
make sure that all the components are at
room temperature.
• During use, avoid contact with the dis-
pensing unit, and the water and steam
nozzles.
