➤ Connect the negative terminal of the consumer unit to the flat plug (any pin)
(fig. 2 10, page 3).
➤ Connect the AC connection cable to the AC connection (fig. 1 7, page 3).
➤ Secure all cables with strain relief clamps (fig. 1 6, page 3).

Connecting the CI-bus or an external switch
If you want to use the CI-bus or an external switch to operate your floor heating, pro-
ceed as follows:
➤ Connect the CI-bus or the cable of the switch to the CI-bus connector (fig. 2 3,
page 3).
CI-bus connector configuration (Jumper 7)
The CI-bus connector (fig. 2 3, page 3) has 3 pins, which are assigned as follows:

NOTE
Make sure jumpers 9 (fig. 2 4, page 3) and 10 (fig. 2 8, page 3) are
never activated at the same time. If both jumpers are activated at the
same time, the two switching alternatives via CI-bus and via external 12 V
switching voltage are blocked.
➤ Disconnect the switch-mode power supply from the power supply.
➤ Press the two clips (fig. 1 4, page 3) in the direction indicated by the arrows
and lift the cover off (fig. 1 5, page 3).
Switching via CI-bus
➤ Make sure jumpers 6 (fig. 2 5, page 3) and 9 (fig. 2 4, page 3) are not set.
➤ Set jumper 10 (fig. 2 8, page 3).
✓ The switch-mode power supply can now be managed via the CI-bus.
