OPERATION
Introduction

Before you operate the product, you must read and understand the safety chapter.
Before following the fitting instructions, move your hair aside and remove any objects that could affect
acoustic seal. Make sure that the sealing rings are tight around your ears before you operate the product.
To put the hearing protectors in operating position (Sordin SHARE-1): Place the cups over the ears and
adjust the headband and cups until they are in a comfortable position. Adjust the earmuffs until they are
tight around your ears and tight against your head. (Fig.2)
To assemble the hearing protectors to a helmet (Sordin SHARE-2): Lift the earmuffs out and up until
they lock in standby position. (Fig.3). Put the helmet attachment in the slot on the helmet. (Fig.4)

To put the hearing protectors in operating position (Sordin SHARE-2): Put the helmet on your head.
Adjust the earmuffs until they are tight around your ears and tight against your head. (Fig.5)
To put the hearing protectors in standby position (Sordin SHARE-2): Lift the earmuffs out and up until
they lock in standby position. (Fig.6)
To put the hearing protectors in parking position (Sordin SHARE-2): Put the earmuffs in standby
position. Turn the hearing protectors rearward along the side of the helmet until they lock in the parking
position. (Fig. 7) Do not press the earmuffs against the helmet shell as this can cause cracks around the
side of the helmet. (Fig. 1)
To attach/remove optional head padding (SHARE-1): The optional head padding can be attached/
removed. Open the velcro flap on the padding to remove it from the headband.
To assemble the boom microphone: Make sure that the hearing protector is off and connect the boom
microphone to the microphone input on the right earmuff. (Fig. 9)
FUNCTIONS
Charging the unit
• To charge: Connect the charger cable to the USB-C port on left earmuff (Fig.10) and to a standard
USB-charger.
The hearing protector will turn OFF when the charger cable is connected but can be turned ON manually
after the cable is connected.
Charge the hearing protector for a minimum of 4 hours to get maximum battery capacity. Charging is
automatically stopped when the battery is fully charged.
Voice feedback reports battery level when the hearing protector is switched ON (HIGH/MEDUIM/LOW).
• To check the battery status at any time during usage, say "Hey Sordin, battery status".
Switch ON / OFF
• To turn ON, push the multifunction [ ] button (Fig.11.3) for 2 seconds.
• To turn OFF, push the multifunction [ ] button (Fig.11.3) for 2 seconds.
NOTICE! If no function button is activated for 4 hours, the unit turns off.
To operate Sordin SHARE
Use the buttons (Fig.11), voice commands or preferably the Sordin SHARE app to operate the unit. The
app can be found on Google Play (for Android) and App Store (for iOS).
Bluetooth pairing
Push multifunction [ ] button (Fig.11.3) for 5 seconds, until voice feedback "MOBILE PHONE PAIRING".
In your phone, search for Bluetooth devices and select "SNNNNNN" (number marked on the unit). If the
phone requires a password, enter: 0000.
Once the Bluetooth pairing is performed it will automatically establish connection next time it is used.
To cancel the pairing process, push the multifunction [ ] button (Fig.11.3) for 2 seconds.
If pairing is not completed within 2 minutes, the unit automatically returns to standby.
2-way radio can be connected either by Bluetooth or (for suffix C-variants) customized cable.
