1. Set desired value of the torque by turning the blocking ring clockwise.
Example – setting the torque to 88 Nm.
1.1 Release the wrench lock by moving the ring to lower UNLOCK position (figure 1).
1.2 Turn the ring so the marker (red line) shows 80 Nm (figure 2).
1.3 Turn the ring clockwise to set '8' next to the point marked on the handle (figure 3).
1.4 After desired torque has been set, put the blockade to the LOCK position (figure 4).
1.5 The wrench will tighten with a torque equal to 88 Nm.
2. When the wrench torque has been set start tightening the screw by applying a pressure to the wrench-
handle. When you hear pawl click, release hand applied pressure immediately. The setting of torque will
return to starting value '0' . Be careful when tightening with use of small torque.
3. When you use the wrench for the first time or the wrench was not used for a long time, use the wrench
5 to 10 times with high torque setting so internal parts of the wrench are lubricated with a special oil
contained inside. Set the lowest torque when not using the wrench.
4. Do not continue to apply the pressure to the wrench handle after the desired torque is reached as it might
damage tightened connection.
5. Check the blockade is not in the LOCK position prior to setting the torque.
The wrench is calibrated and set so its accuracy is ± 4%. The wrench is precise device and should be used by
specialists only. Do not immerse the wrench in any liquid, it may affect lubrication of its internal parts.
