ON RECEIVING THE E-LIT BOX
● Check the following items are included in the
packing box:
- User manual
- 2 x M12 connectors
- Antenna
- Plastic cap
GETTING STARTED
24V power supply and PLC must be
switched OFF before installing the
module.
The E-LIT BOX module is designed to be
mounted on a DIN rail. It is recommended
to mount the module in vertical position,
M12 connectors being directed to the
bottom.
● Clip the module on the rail.
● Connect the 24V power supply to J1
connector.
● Connect the PLC I/O to J1/J2 connector.
● Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet
switch or to the PC. If not, put the plastic cap
instead.
● Connect the antenna.
● Switch on the PLC and 24V power supply.
When the module is powered on, all LEDs are lit
and the relays are energized until new data are
received from the married tool.
● Refer to the E-LIT PC user manual to set up
the E-LIT BOX module.
TOOL PAIRING
The E-LIT BOX module can be married
with one tool from the following Desoutter
range:
- ELC screwdrivers
- DWT torque wrenches
- DWTA torque and angle wrenches
● Switch off 24 V power supply.
● Activate inputs IN1 and IN2 (1).
● Switch on 24 V power supply.
● Keep inputs IN1 and IN2 activated (2) until the
LED "MAINTENANCE" starts blinking.
When the LED "MAINTENANCE" starts blinking,
the E-LIT BOX accepts a new tool during the next
60 seconds.
The tool previously married is
automatically cleared.
(1) by pressing BP1 and BP2 buttons on E-LIT
simulator.
(2) by keeping BP1 and BP2 buttons pressed.
