REFERENCE. YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY MAY BE AFFECTED if you do not follow these instructions.
This car kit enables the RED CASTLE carrycot (for SHOP' N JOGG II, CITYLINK 2 and WHIZZ strollers) to be
used as a car bed. This car kit includes a three-part shock absorbing panel, an abdomen (restraint) belt and
two anchoring straps.
WARNING: This car kit is designed to ensure the safety of children from 0 up to 9 months old or weighing
less than 10kgs. This car kit meets the European safety standard ECE R44. The carrycot combined as a
carbed can be used in the car for a child from birth up to 10kgs.
WARNING: To be used exclusively in vehicles equipped with 3 point seat belts which meet the ECE-16
safety standard or its equivalent.
WARNING: Install the carrycot only on the rear seat of the vehicle.
WARNING: Always install the head piece in the carrycot whenever you use it for car travel. It is an item of
safety.
WARNING: The backrest of the carrycot must be completely flat.

WARNING: Never place your carrycot on a raised surface to avoid the risk of falling.
• PLEASE NOTE! for the maximum safety of your child in the case of side impact, it is important NOT TO PUT
THE BABY'S HEAD NEXT TO THE DOOR.
• The manufacturer can only guarantee the safety of the car kit system if it is used by the first time owner.
We strongly suggest that you do not use a second-hand car kit.
• Do not remove the child from the carrycot under any circumstances when the vehicle is moving.
• In the event of an accident, the carrycot must no longer be used and must obligatorily be changed. It
may have incurred damage not visible to the eye.
• In the event of an accident, unbuckle the anchoring straps which hold the carrycot in place. Remove the
carrycot. Do not remove the child from the carrycot under any circumstances. Have the child examined
by a doctor.
• Inform passengers how the car kit system works, in case of danger or of an accident.
• The carrycot must always be held in place by the seat belts, even when the child is not inside it.
Unattached, it represents a danger for the vehicle's occupants, were the vehicle to brake suddenly.
• Do not place heavy objects on the rear window shelf. Make sure that any luggage inside the vehicle is
placed in such a way that, in the event of an accident, it does not injure either the baby or any other
occupants.
• Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not make any changes to the product. RED CASTLE FRANCE declines all responsibility should changes
be made.
• Do not use the carrycot and the car kit if any piece is broken or missing.
• The seat belts in the vehicle and the car kit safety straps must not be twisted.
