Safety recommendations

- Read the instructions for use carefully
before using your can opener for the first
time : any use which does not conform
to these instructions will absolve
Moulinex from all liability.
- Never leave the can opener within reach
of children without supervision. The use
of this device by young children or by
handicapped persons must be done
under supervision.
- Check that the voltage rating of your
appliance corresponds to that of your
electrical system.
Any connection error will invalidate the
guarantee.
- Your can opener is intended solely for
domestic use and within the home.
- Unplug your can opener once you have
finished using it, and when you are cleaning
it.
- Never use your can opener if it is not working
correctly, or if it has been damaged. In either
case, contact an approved Moulinex service
centre (see the list in the service booklet).
- Any intervention other than cleaning and
normal maintenance must be carried out by
an approved Moulinex service centre.
- Never put the can opener, the power cable
or the plug into water or any other liquid.
- Never allow the power cable to hang down
within reach of children.
- The power cable must never be in close
proximity to a source of heat or rest on a
sharp edge.
- If the power cable or the plug are damaged,
do not use the can opener. To avoid any risk,
these must be replaced by an approved
Moulinex service centre (see list in service
booklet).
- For your own safety, use only Moulinex
accessories and spare parts which are
suitable for your can opener.
