VER try to extinguish a fire with water, inste-
ad, switch off the appliance and then cover
the flames e.g. with a lid or a fire blanket.
• Danger of fire: do not store items on the
cooking surfaces.
• If the surface is cracked, switch off the ap-
pliance to avoid the possibility of electric
shock.
• For hobs incorporating a lid, any spillage
should be removed from the lid before ope-
ning. The hob surface should also be allo-
wed to cool before closing the lid.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated
by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
• This appliance is not connected to an eva-
cuation device for combustion products. It
must be installed and connected in accor-
dance with current installation regulations.
Particular attention must be given to the re-
levant requirements regarding ventilation.
• Avoid striking or knocking on the glass with
accessories.
• Do not operate the appliance before it is fully
installed.
• The appliance must be installed and made
operational by an authorized technician.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any
damage that might be caused by defective
placement and installation by unauthorized
people.

• When you unpack the appliance, make sure
that it has not been damaged during trans-
portation. In the event of any defect, do not
use the appliance and contact a qualified
service agent immediately. As the materials
used for packaging (nylon, staplers, Styrofo-
am, etc.) may cause harmful effects to chil-
dren, they should be collected and removed
immediately.
• Protect your appliance against atmospheric
conditions. Do not expose it to conditions
such as sun, rain, snow etc.
• The materials surrounding the appliance
(cabinet) must be able to withstand a tempe-
rature of at least 100°C.
• The use of a gas cooking appliance will re-
sult in the production of heat, moisture and
combustion products in the room where it is
installed. Ensure that the kitchen is well ven-
tilated, especially when the appliance is in
use. Keep natural ventilation paths open or
install a mechanical ventilation device (me-
chanical extractor hood).
• Prolonged intensive use of the appliance
may require additional ventilation, such as
opening a window, or more effective ventila-
tion, such as increasing the level of mecha-
nical ventilation, where present.
Prior to installation, ensure that the local dis-
tribution conditions (the type of gas and gas
pressure, and the voltage and frequency of
the electricity) are compatible with the requi-
rements of the appliance. The requirements
for this appliance are stated on the label.
