ENVIRONMENTAL REFERENCE
By using rechargeable batteries and ANSMANN chargers you conserve the environment and safe money
by doing so. Rechargeable batteries are not to be disposed in domestic waste. Give used batteries back
to your dealer or rather to the battery collecting point.
CAUTION
Keep your charger in a dry place (indoor use only). Danger of fire and electric shock! Damaged
power cables are to be taken to authorized dealers.
COMMISSIONING
Plug the power plug into a convenient mains socket (cf. identification plate) and place the batteries into the
battery mounting adapter on the charger. The charger will then start up automatically.
Insertion of the cylindrical cells
Push the contact bow (6) to the right. Insert the battery/ies up to the bottom of the charging box (shaped
like a V). (Always insert batteries with correct direction of poles according to the symbols in the charging
box!). The charging time for NiCd cylindrical cells is approx. 8h and 16 h for NiMH cylindrical cells
(if the slide switch is adjusted to the right position). (Further details cf. table of charging times ). After
termination of the charging process automatic switch over to trickle charging is made. The cells can stay
in the charger unrestrictedly, with full capacity and without danger of overcharging. Before charging
a defined predischarge of the cylindrical cells can be started via the discharge button (PRESS). Thus
the feared memory effect (capacity loss) is avoided. After discharge, the fast charging process starts
