INTRODUCTION

INSTALLATION

1 Make sure that the Tuner is disconnected from the BUS.
2 Put the numerical confi gurator (1 – 4) which identifi es the source (Radio Tuner) into socket
S1. Sockets S2 and M are not to be confi gured.
3 Install the device on the DIN rail in a position where positioning of the wire antenna is easy
(F500 only).
4 For F500 COAX, connect the type F connector of the adapter cord to external receiving
devices (local antennas or antenna systems) and the MCX connector to the ANT terminal
as shown in the connection diagram.
5 Connect the Tuner to the BUS as described in the "Connection to SCS BUS diagram"
section.
6 Switch ON the BUS.

SWITCHING ON

After installing the Tuner (or after a
power cut) and if no device has requested
switching on the radio, with backlighting

the indication "STANDBY".
The Radio Tuner has a display with
backlighting, which comes on when any

after the last press the backlighting and
the LED go out. Activating the device by
means of the commands on the front of
the tuner does not involve switching on
the amplifi ers in the rooms.

DISPLAY

The display shows the message RDS
sent from the tuned station (only if
available from the radio stations), the
tuned frequency and the number of the
station played.
There are also two indications "STEREO"
and "FM CH" which indicate if the tuned
signal is stereo and if automatic station
search has been selected.
