TOOLS NEEDED:
Wrench
2. Use the wrench to tighten the nuts on all 4 threaded
adjustment rods until the gate is secure. Tighten each
nut a little at a time, starting at the bottom of the
gate, then move to the upper hinge-side, and lastly
the upper handle side.
3. The nuts should be tightened until the handle latch
locks into the frame.
PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT overextend
the adjustment rods. If the gate is more
than 2.5" (63.5mm) from the wall, you
must add an extension. See page 15
for additional extension configurations.

OPENING YOUR GATE
Pull the button on top of the handle back with your thumb, then lift the gate allowing
the inner tabs of the swing guard on the bottom of the door to clear the bottom metal
bar. Swing the gate open.
CLOSING YOUR GATE
Push the gate closed and lift the door upward to allow the inner tabs of the swing guard
to clear the bottom metal bar. Set the door down in place with the metal bar resting in
between the inner tabs of the swing guard.
PLEASE NOTE: Always check the handle, bottom swing guard and inner tabs to make sure
that the gate is securely locked and never leave your child unattended.
