Die vorliegende Gebrauchsanweisung soll helfen,
das von KARL STORZ hergestellte Gerät richtig aufzu-
stellen, anzuschließen und zu bedienen. Alle notwendi-

1.2 Gerätebeschreibung
Ein hochwertiges Lampensystem sorgt für hohe
Lichtausbeute, die Konstruktion für einfache Bedienung
und unproblematischen Service.
Das optische System eines Kaltlicht-Projektors besteht
aus einer Halogenlampe oder Entladungslampe, einem
Kondensorsystem und einem Kaltlicht-Spiegel.
Mit dem Kondensorsystem wird das Licht auf die
Stirnfläche eines an die Lichtquelle anzuschließenden
Lichtkabels fokussiert. Der Kaltlicht-Spiegel reflektiert
im wesentlichen nur den sichtbaren Anteil der
Strahlung. Er ist durchlässig für Infrarot-Strahlung. Die
Helligkeit kann am Gerät eingestellt werden. Die durch
die Lampe entstehende Wärme wird von einem Lüfter
abtransportiert.

1.2 Description of the device
A high-quality lamp system ensures high light efficien-
cy, while the design provides simple operation and
servicing.
The optical system of a cold light projector consists of
a halogen lamp or discharge lamp, a condenser
system and a cold light mirror.
The condenser system focuses the light on the end
surface of a light cable connected to the light source.
The cold light mirror essentially reflects only the visible
part of the radiation. It is permeable to infrared radia-
tion. The brightness can be adjusted on the device.
The heat generated by the lamp is removed by a fan.
