6) Adjust the volume for the earphones with the
control VOL (12) on the receiver
To protect your hearing from sudden signal
peaks, activate the limiter (ON) with the slider
switch LIMIT (22) For this purpose, a screwdriver
is provided The limiter will limit the volume to
a maximum value depending on the position of
the control VOL This will allow a higher moni-
toring volume for low and average signal levels
However, if you wish to maintain the dynamic
power of the music signal, deactivate the lim-
iter (OFF)
VORSICHT Never adjust a very high volume
Permanent high volumes may
damage your hearing! Your ear
will get accustomed to high
volumes which do not seem to be that high
after some time Therefore, do not further in-
crease a high volume after getting used to it
7) When a microphone or an audio unit is con-
nected to the jack LINE / MIC (18), set the signal
gain with the control LINE / MIC GAIN (17) so
that the signal for the earphones is neither dis-
torted nor too low in volume For this purpose,
use the screwdriver provided
8) When all settings have been made on the
receiver, use the clip (19) to attach it to your
clothes (e g belt or waistband)
9) If the transmission results are poor, increase the
transmission power of the transmitter: Use the
screwdriver provided to engage the button TX
BOOSTER (10)
However, this may result in interference with
other wireless systems in the vicinity In this case,
disengage the button
10) To save the batteries, switch off the receiver
after operation and during longer intervals Turn
the control VOL to the left stop until it locks
To switch off the transmitter, briefly keep
the button
pressed until the channel display is
extinguished If the transmitter is not in use for
a longer period of time, disconnect the power
supply unit of the transmitter from the mains
socket Even when the transmitter is switched
off, the power supply unit has a low power
consumption
