These instructions are intended for users without
any specific technical knowledge Please read the
instructions carefully prior to operation and keep
them for later reference

Operating Elements and
Connections
1.1 Transmitter SIEM-2T
1 Combined XLR / 6 3 mm jacks MIC / LINE 1 and
MIC / LINE 2 (bal ), each to connect a micro-
phone or an audio signal source, e g mixer,
preamplifier
2 Controls INPUT VOL to set the input level, one
each for the inputs MIC / LINE 1 and 2
3 Level indicators AF / PEAK, one each for the in-
puts MIC / LINE 1 and 2
LED shows green at and above a certain signal
level
LED shows orange when the level limit has
almost been reached
LED shows red when the level limit has been
reached
4 Channel display
5 Button SET to set the channel:
1 Keep the button pressed until the dot on the
right of the channel display (4) starts flashing
2 Press the button repeatedly to select the
desired transmission channel (0 – 9, A, b, C,
d, E, F)
3 When the dot stops flashing, the setting has
been stored
6 Power switch
To switch off, briefly keep the button pressed
until the channel display (4) is extinguished
7 Transmitting antenna
8 Outputs LOOP OUT to route the inputs signals
from the jacks MIC / LINE 1 and 2 (1) to the in-
puts of another audio unit (e g amplifier or
second transmitter)
9 Strain relief for the cable from the power supply
unit
To prevent accidental disconnection of the plug
from the jack (11), wrap the cable around the
hook from below

10 Button TX BOOSTER for the transmission power
button disengaged = low transmission power
button engaged = high transmission power
11 Jack for power supply via the power supply unit
provided

12 On-off switch with volume control for the ear-
phones
13 Button SET to set the channel (also see item 5)
14 Channel display
To save the batteries, the channel display only
lights up briefly after switching on When you
press the button SET (13), it lights up again for
a few seconds
15 Battery compartment cover
16 Receiving antenna
17 Control LINE / MIC GAIN to set the gain for the
input LINE / MIC (18)
18 Input (6 3 mm jack) to connect a microphone
or an audio unit
19 Belt clip
20 Jack
for the earphones
21 Power / Battery LED
When the LED shows red, replace the batteries
22 Switch for the limiter
