CAUTION: THE JOINTER IS VERY HEAVY,
WHICH MUST BE RAISED BETWEEN TWO OR
MORE PERSONS OR MECHANICAL MEDIA TO
PLACE IT ON THE BASE.
IMPORTANT: The mounting screws that
pass through the holes (F), must be screwed
down from the base of the edger. The one
passing through (L) must be screwed upwards
from the inside of the pedestal.
ASSEMBLY OF THE INFEED TABLE ADJUST-
MENT MANUAL
1. Screw the insert nut (Fig. 5-A) clockwise at
the end of the handle (B) as far as possible.
2. Screw the handle (B) onto the block (C) lo-
cated under the entry table (D). Tighten the
insert nut against the block, as shown.

Assemble

pul-
ley (Fig. 6-A) with
the motor shaft (B)
by placing the pulley
with the flange facing
outwards, as shown.
Be sure to insert the
wedge (C) by match-
ing the grooves of the
arrow and pulley.
ASSEMBLY AND ALIGNMENT OF PULLEYS AND
V-BELT
1. Place the belt (Fig. 7-A) into the grooves of
the head pulley (B) and motor (C).

2. Make sure that the motor pulley (C) is
aligned with that of the head, placing a ruler
(D) on the face of the pulleys, as shown.
3. If a setting is required, the motor pulley (C)
can be moved over the shaft, or move the mo-
tor by loosening the four mounting screws,
two of which are shown in Figure 7 and after
adjustment, tighten the four Motor screws or
pulley stud, depending on the chosen method.

ADJUSTING THE BAND TENSION
The proper tension of the belt is obtained
when there is a deflection of about 1 inch
when the center of the belt is pressed with
the finger. If adjustment is required, the motor
can be lowered or raised by loosening the four
mounting screws, of which two are shown in
(E). Once the correct tension is achieved tight-
en all the screws.
NOTE: Verify that the pulleys are aligned and
reassemble the rear panel, which was removed
in Step 2 of "Edger Assembly to Pedestal".
ASSEMBLING CUTTERHEAD PULLEY GUARD/
CARRIAGE BRACKET
1. Align the two alignment pins (Fig. 8-A) of
the support (C) with the two alignment holes
(B) on the back of the edger (D).

2. Use the supplied hex wrench (E) to assemble
the bracket (Fig. 9-C) to the edger by four M8
