After those 10 minutes, the slow cooker will automatically remain on
Warm and the display will begin to count down for 10 hours.
When those 10 hours have been depleted the slow cooker will autom
-atically switch to standby mode.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the slow cooker from power outlet.
2. Allow the entire unit (heating base, inner pot and lid) to cool before
cleaning. Place ceramic inner pot and cover on a dry, heat-resistant
surface for gradual cooling. Add some warm water to the inner pot,
so that leftovers do not burn and stick to the pan making it more
difficult to clean.
IMPORTANT Do not run cold water over hot ceramic cooking
vessel or cover, as they may crack if cooled suddenly.
3. Wash the lid and cooking pot in hot soapy water, using a cloth or
sponge, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not use scouring pads.
Avoid contact between pieces to prevent damage.
NOTE: IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED placing inner pot and lid in
the dishwasher, because the harsh environment inside the dishw
-asher may affect the surface finishes.
4. All other surfaces, internal and external, should be wiped with a
damp cloth.
5. Dry all surfaces thoroughly before re-using or storing.
ATTENTION
- DO NOT immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.
- DO NOT put the heating base in the dishwasher.
- DO NOT use harsh or abrasive cleaners or solvents.
In case of stains: use a non-abrasive cleanser or baking soda paste
to remove them. Do not use metal scouring pads or cleansers.
Wipe with distilled vinegar to remove water spots or mineral deposits.
Rewash with warm soapy water, rinse and dry.
