• Respect the product's max. load specifications. Protect this device from shocks and abuse and
avoid brute force when operating. Check the installation on a bimonthly basis.
• An adequate mounting is essential and falls outside the responsibility of Velleman nv. Respect all
installation and operating directions of the device to be mounted/installed (LCD/plasma display).
• Only use the device at an indoor location, protected from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping
liquids. Make sure the chosen location spot is able to support the weight of the bracket and
screen.
• Keep fingers away from articulations to avoid injury. Keep the device out of reach of children and
unauthorized users at all times.

4. Features

5. Installation
Refer to the illustrations on pages 2~5 of this manual.
(1) Use the wall mounting bracket [S] to determine and indicate the position of the mounting holes.
Make sure to mount the plate horizontal using the built-in spirit level.
Note: make sure the edge with closed ends is on top when mounting.
• (1a) When mounting on a wooden wall or wall support, drill holes size Ø3mm and at least
60mm deep at the indicated positions. Make sure all the holes are drilled in solid wood
and that they are blind holes. Mount the wall mounting bracket on the wall using the 4
included screws [J] and washers [L]. Do not use anchors.
• (1b) When mounting on a brick or concrete wall, drill holes (at least 60mm deep) at the
indicated positions. Insert the included anchors [I] and mount the wall mounting bracket
on the wall using the 6 included screws [J] and washers [L].
(2) Mount the TV mounting brackets [R] and spacers [P, Q] on the back of the TV as indicated.
When multiple mounting locations are available, make sure the mounting brackets are at equal
distance from the top of the TV and are mounted as close as possible to the sides. Depending on
the TV screen, use the correct bolts [A~H] and washers [K~M]. Refer to illustrations [2a],
[2b], [2c] and [2d] to determine the correct location and combinations of bolts and washers.
Make sure that the threaded inserts of the TV are deep enough to tighten the bolts without
damaging the TV. When necessary (e.g. curved TV-back, bolt too long), use the included plastic
spacers [N, O].
(3) Hook the TV with the mounting brackets [R] over the wall plate [S]. The straps must hang
down along the side of the TV mounting brackets [R].
(4) Gently lift the bottom of the TV and fold the arm of the spacer [P] towards the wall so the TV
rests on it. Do not push the TV upwards as it can fall of the wall plate. Make all necessary
connections. When finished, move the arm back into its original position and gently move the TV
back against the wall plate.
(5) Pull both straps of the TV mounting brackets as indicated. Push the TV against the wall and
release the straps. Make sure the notches hook behind the lower edge of the wall plate.
