Place a suction valve with filter on the end of
GB
n
the supply hose to prevent the supply from
clogging up.
Place a check valve directly on the drain hose
n
to prevent the pump from being damaged by
water hammer.
Place a shutoff valve downstream from the
n
check valve to facilitate servicing.
Mounting the pump (fig. A)
The machine must be screwed on a solid
underground.
Mark the position of the mounting holes (2)
n
on the underground.
Drill holes at each of the marked positions,
n
adjusting the diameter and depth of the holes
to the screws used.
Place the machine on the underground and
n
insert the screws into the mounting holes.
Firmly tighten the screws.
n
@
Before installing or moving the
pump always remove the mains
plug from the wall socket.
Connecting the water hose (fig. A)
Screw a water hose directly or via a reducing
n
nipple to the connection.
Check whether the hose is connected properly.
n
@
Before connecting a water hose,
always unplug the tool.
Filling the pump housing (fig. A)
Before each use the pump housing (3) must be
filled with water.
Remove the screw from the filling point (5).
n
Fill the pump housing with water until the
n
level is equal to the edge of the filling point.
Reinsert the screw and tighten it securely.
n
Instructions for use
Check whether the hoses are connected
n
properly.
Make sure that the supply hose is
n
approximately 0,5 m below liquid level.
36

n
switch (1) to 'I'.
To switch the machine off, set the on/off
n
switch (1) to '0'.
@
The pump has been fitted with a
thermal protection. In case of
overload the motor is switched off.
After the motor has cooled down
the pump automatically switches
on again.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The machine does not require any special
maintenance.
Regularly clean the ventilation slots.
n
Defects must only be repaired by an
n
authorised service station.

Remove the plug from the mains
when draining.
Remove the water hoses from the pump
n
housing (3).
Remove the screw from the bleeding point (11).
n
Tilt the machine forward and empty the tank.
