The ice maker stops working when the ice basket is full. In this case the
indicator will light up.
Drain all the water, if unit isn't used. Always store the unit without water in the water
reservoir.
► During the first three production cycles, the ice cubes are small and irregular.
► When the ice basket is full, remove the ice cubes directly to prevent overflowing of the
ice basket.

► Change water in the water reservoir every 24 hours to avoid pathogenic organisms.
16 Cleaning and Maintenance
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to cleaning and
maintaining the device. Please observe the notices to prevent damages due to cleaning
the device incorrectly and to ensure trouble-free operation.
16.1 Safety information
Attention
Please observe the safety instructions, before cleaning your ice maker.
► Change water in the water reservoir every 24 hours to ensure a reasonable hygiene
level.
► Before cleaning switch off the unit and take the power plug out of the outlet.
► Clean the unit with a soft cloth.
► Don't clean the ice maker with inflammable detergents.
► Clean the ice maker again thoroughly when the machine hasn't been used for a long
time.
16.2 Cleaning (also before first use)
Take out the ice basket.
Clean the interior with diluted detergent, warm water and a soft cloth.
Clean the interior of the machine with lukewarm water. Drain out the water by
unplugging the drain cap.
Clean the outside of the ice maker with a soft cloth and warm water.
