This machine is intended for sanding drywalls, ceilings and walls of the inner and outer surfaces, clearing the floor
residues, paint coatings, adhesive and plaster.
CAUTION:
To prevent accidents, make sure to turn the switch off and disconnect to the plug from the power receptacle.
1. Assembling the hose protection device (Fig 1)
The hose protection device (5) makes it possible to place the machine on the ground or against a wall without
damaging the suction hose.
- Place the pieces (A1) and (A2) at the end of the column, and assemble them with the 4 Phillips screws M4.
2. Assembling the front D-Handle (Fig 2)
- Loosen the 2 thumb screws (17) and remove the clamp cap.
- Place the handle in the desired position on the column.
- Clamp the handle in place by replacing the clamp cap and tightening the 2 thumb screws (17).
3. Installing/changing the sanding disc (Fig 3)
- Peel away the worn out sandpaper disc (12), leaving the sponge backing pad (13) in place.
- Carefully center the new sandpaper disc and press into place. It will be held securely by the hook and loop
backing.
CAUTION:
Do not work without a sanding disc mounted on the sanding pad.
4. Connecting the dust hose (Fig 4)
CAUTION:
- Dust from materials such as lead-containing coatings and minerals can be harmful to health. Touching or
breathing-in the dust can cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory infections of the user or bystanders.
- Materials containing asbestos may only be worked by specialists.
- Provide a good ventilation of the working place and prevent dust accumulation at the workplace.
- It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class respirator. Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the
materials to be worked.
- Plug dust hose (8) bayonet mount into the swivel mount (4) in the back of the machine.
- Once the tangs of the bayonet mount are fully inserted in the slots, hold the swivel mount from turning and turn
the hose bayonet mount clockwise to lock.
- Connect the dust hose (8) to the vacuum cleaner.
WARNING:
- Ensure that the vacuum cleaner is approved and rated for drywall dust.
- Failure to use an approved dust bag in your vacuum will increase the level of airborne dust in the work area.
Prolonged exposure to such dust may cause respiratory harm.
1. Power source check
Ensure that the power source to be utilized conforms to the power requirements specified on the product
nameplate.
2. Switch status check
Ensure that the power switch is in the OFF position. If the plug is connected to a power receptacle while the
power switch is in the ON position, the power tool will start operating immediately, which could cause a serious
accident.
3. Extension cord
When the work area is removed from the power source, use an extension cord of sufficient thickness and rated
capacity. The extension cord should be kept as short as practicable.
