Milk Frother Troubleshooting Guide

Your MR. COFFEE
Milk Frother has been carefully designed
®
to give you may years of trouble-free service. In the unlikely
event that your new coffeemaker does not operate
satisfactorily, please review the following potential problems
and try the steps recommended BEFORE you call to Warranty
Service.
Problem
Possible Causes
No Froth
Frothing Disk not
installed
Frothing Disk or
Pitcher Post Dirty
Not enough Froth
Selected Latte or
Warm Milk mode
Milk is not fresh and
cold
Some milk types froth
better than others
Frothing Disk or
Pitcher Post Dirty
Solution
Remove Frothing Disk
from bottom of unit
and place onto post
in bottom of pitcher.
Clean the Frother Disk
inside the hole and
Pitcher Post to make
sure the disk can spin
freely on the post.
Use the Cappuccino
modes for more froth.
Use fresh cold milk,
try a new container
of milk.
Whole or 2% milk is
recommended for
best results.
All types of milk
including almond, soy,
lactose free can be
used but froth results
may vary
Clean the Frother Disk
inside the hole and
Pitcher Post to make
sure the disk can spin
freely on the post.

Solution
Use the Latte or Warm
Milk modes for less
froth.
Do not fill over mark
for Cappuccino.
Use Latte or
Cappuccino modes
for hot milk/froth.
If this does not fix the
problem or it's not
heating at all, please
call the warranty
service number
located in the back of
the instruction book.
Make sure there is
no mile residue on
metal contacts on the
bottom of the pitcher
handle and mating
contacts on the base.
