3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
•
Before using the toaster for the first time,
switch it on without any bread on the
grill, in order to eliminate any dust and
dirt. To do this, plug in the toaster and
turn the timer dial to its maximum setting
(5 minutes). When this time has elapsed,
the toaster will switch off automatically. It
is normal for the toaster to give off a
small amount of smoke during this first
use.
• To make toast, place the slices of bread
on the grill and choose the toasting time
by turning the timer dial to the desired
position. Observe the toasting process
and when you can see that the bread is
toasted on one side, turn it over for the
other side to be toasted. When the time
set on the timer dial has elapsed, the
toaster will switch off automatically.
Important: Do not cover the grill
surface completely with the bread.
