DESCRIPTION
This anchorage sling is a mobile anchorage point to be used for anchorage in a fall arrest system. It
is useful at working areas where there are horizontal beams or pipes or other structures on which it
can be looped and used as anchor point.
USE
Follow step 1 to step 3.
Step 1 : Identify a beam or similar horizontal structure strong enough or known to have a strength
of greater than 12 kN.
Step 2: Loop the anchorage sling twice or thrice depending upon how much it's length allows in
such a way that finally the loop is passed through the D-Ring of the sling at the other end as
shown in figure 1, 2 & 3 in the same sequence. Now tighten the loops by strongly pulling the free
end.
Step 3: The loop finally hanging down con now be used as an anchorage point and connect a
retractable fall arrester as per EN 360 or anchorage line of a guided type fall arrestor as per EN 353-
2 or an energy absorber as per EN 355.
MATERIAL
Anchorage CTA14 is manufactured from 8mm steel wire rope.

LIMITATIONS FOR USE
- Personal protective equipment should be a personal issue item
-It is recommended that the anchor point where the fall arrest system is going to be fixed should be
placed above the position of the user. Anchor point must have a minimum static strength of 12 kN
and must be in conformity to EN 795 requirements.
- Personal protective equipment must not be used by a person with medical condition that
could affect the safety of the equipment user in normal and emergency use.
