1. DESCRIPTION AND COMPONENTS

The "DOLOMITES" vacuum mattress is a medical device that can be used to intervene to immobilize in case of body
injuries or traumas or, in most serious cases of spinal damage.
Externally, the vacuum mattress is made of welded and spread PVC, internally of polystyrene spheres; it is equipped with
a useful and easy-to-use valve.

3. PROPER AND IMPROPER USE

The product is a professional one and it is intended for use in a medical or emergency situation, to allow the temporary
immobilization of any body part when the patology is compatible, and the eventual transfer to suitable apparatus for
movement. In any case the manufacturer does not assume any responsibility for improper uses of the product under the
conditions listed below:
Use by non-qualified staff;

Non-observance of the immobilization techniques;

Non-compliance by the operators of rules/specifications in force with regard to safety;

Use of the device for non-compatible pathologies;

Modifications or violations which have not been authorized by OSCAR BOSCAROL srl

Non-respect of the provisions specified in this information leaflet

ATTENTION! Please note that:
The vacuum mattresses are suitable for use inside emergency vehicles with the patient on them

After 75 min. since patient'is immobilization, the vacuum level suitable for correct

immobilisation must be reset
The improper use of the device can cause injury or damage to the patient.

Patient always need to be properly fixed during transport

In any case the manufacturer declines any responsability if the product is used or operates under the following
conditions, considered as improper use:
Use by non-qualified staff;

Non-observance of the immobilization techniques;

Use non-compliant with rules/specifications in force with regard to safety;

use of the device for non-compatible pathologies;

