The design of the mainboard connections is the
same for every type of PC (refer to Sec. 3.7.2). The
connections in the area of the interface cards de-
pend on the type of PC (refer to Sec. 3.7.3).

Interface cards

Peripheral devices operated with the PC must sup-
port at least USB 2.0. The PC is provided with two
USB interfaces USB 3.0; these USB interfaces can
only be used for the operation of peripheral devices
which support USB 3.0. If use is to be made of CAN,
SVTW or VPM 844 ISO modules, these are to be
installed before fitting the PC in the trolley or tester.
For further information refer to the fitting instruc-
tions "1 687 001 949" (1 689 978 556).

Only devices with a fire-proof housing are to be ope-
rated from the 25-pin connection of SVTW modules.
