MAINTENANCE
HOW TO REPLACE A LIGHT BULB
1. Switch the device off (preferably, turn it off at the circuit breaker) and leave to cool. (Take care: light
bulbs can get very hot when in use.)
2. Remove the bulb by holding it firmly and turning it anti-clockwise.
3. Take a new bulb and put it carefully into its holder. Screw it in clockwise.
4. Put the power supply on again and switch on.
Important: The bulbs for this fan must be E27, Max 60W (x1).
CLEANING
Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Never use scouring pads, abrasive or chemical cleaners. Do not allow
condensation to come in contact with the electrical components.
REMOTE CONTROL
Replace the batteries by sliding the battery compartment panel on the remote controller. Use 2xAAA
batteries, ensuring polarity as shown in the batter compartment (not included). Put them on the
battery compartment cover.
Always ensure that the battery compartment panel is secure.
Never leave the remote control in direct sunlight.
Never attempt to recharge primary batteries, either in a charger or by applying rechargeable
batteries which are clearly marked as such.
Never dispose of batteries in fire, because this can cause them to explode.
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that
old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of
the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you
dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local
authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY:
This device complies with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC and the
requirements of the EMC directive 2004/108/EC.
