OPERATION
Stopping the Engine
See Figures 5 - 6.
 Remove any load from the generator.
 Place the on/off/choke dial in the OFF/STORAGE position.
 Close the vent on the fuel cap by rotating the fuel cap
lever to the OFF position.
NOTE: If the temperature is above 75˚F (24˚C), leave the
vent on the fuel cap ON to relieve pressure.
To stop the engine in an emergency situation:
 Place the on/off/choke dial in the OFF/STORAGE position.
While operating and storing, keep at least 3 feet (915 mm)
of clearance on all sides of this product, including
overhead. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes of "cool down"
time before storage. Heat created by muffler and exhaust
gases could be hot enough to cause serious burns and/
or ignite combustible objects.
Pairing the Bluetooth
See Figure 8.
Installing the ECHO COMMAND
enabled iOS or Android device allows you to view and control
many of the generator's functions from your device.
 From the app store on your iOS or Android Bluetooth
enabled device, locate and install the ECHO COMMAND
app.
 Open the app and follow the directions as shown in the
ECHO COMMAND app.

MAINTENANCE

Normal maintenance, replacement or repair of emission control
devices and systems may be performed by any qualified
repair establishment or individual with original or equivalent
parts. Warranty and recall repairs must be performed by
an authorized dealer; please contact customer service for
assistance.
Before inspecting, cleaning or servicing the machine,
shut off engine, wait for all moving parts to stop, and
disconnect spark plug wire and move it away from
spark plug. Allow 30 minutes of cool down time before
performing any maintenance. Failure to follow these
instructions can result in serious personal injury or
property damage.

WARNING
 Start the generator. Push and hold the "Push and Hold to
Pair" button below the LCD panel on the generator until
the LCD panel displays "Pairing Mode."
 The LCD screen on the generator and the app on your
device will indicate a successful pairing.
NOTE: If the generator and app do not pair, make sure
that "Pairing Mode" is displayed during the pairing process
and that Bluetooth
 Press the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen.
This will show you the available features that can be con-
trolled through the app.
Moving the Generator
See Figure 9.
 Verify the on/off/choke dial is in the OFF/STORAGE posi-
tion. In the OFF/STORAGE position, the fuel valve will be
closed and prevent any gas flow.
 Close the vent on the fuel cap by rotating the fuel cap
lever to the OFF position.
 Allow 30 minutes of "cool down" time before storing the
machine. Make sure engine and exhaust of unit are cool.
 Pull the retractable handle out or carry by the carry handles.

 Facing the front of the generator, grasp the folding handle
firmly with one hand.
 Lift the generator toward you until it balances on the

wheels.
™
 Turn around and pull the unit along behind you to the
desired location.
 Lower the generator until it sits securely on a flat surface.
When servicing, use only recommended or equivalent
replacement parts. Use of any other parts could create
a hazard or cause product damage.
DO NOT tamper with, adjust, or modify the carbon
monoxide (CO) sensor module on your generator. Failure
to follow these instructions can cause the monitor to
malfunction which can result in death or serious personal
injury.
