• For extra flavor, brush the outside of the bread with melted bacon
fat instead of butter or margarine.
• If you prefer the bread to be more toasted, keep the sandwich in the
sandwich maker longer, until it is toasted to your taste.
• You can make sandwiches in the sandwich maker, and you can also
simply toast bread in it.
• You can garnish the sandwich with lettuce, parsley, mint leaves,
watercress, chopped olives, onion, tomato, French fries or any
other side dishes you want.
• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the outlet and wait for it to
cool completely.
Cleaning the plates
• Clean the heating plates with a paper towel or damp cloth and dry them
with a dry cloth.
• Although the heating plates are coated with non-stick material, some-
times ingredients may get stuck inside the sandwich maker. To remove
them, coat the plates with cooking oil, turn on the appliance for a few
minutes, and then remove the remains with a plastic or wooden spatula.
