the operator from the effects of vibration, such as
servicing the power tool and application tools,
keeping their hands warm, and organising work-

Assembly
English
Battery charging (see figure A)
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To
ensure full battery capacity, fully charge the bat-
tery in the charger before using your power tool
for the first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time
without reducing its service life. Interrupting the
charging process does not damage the battery.
The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep
discharge by the "Electronic Cell Protection
(ECP)". When the battery is discharged, the power
tool is switched off by means of a protective cir-
cuit: The application tool no longer rotates.
Do not continue to press the On/Off switch
u
after the power tool has automatically
switched off. The battery can be damaged.
To remove the battery (7), press the release but-
tons (6) and pull the battery downwards out of the
power tool. Do not use force to do this.
Follow the instructions on correct disposal.
Changing the tool (see figure B)
Remove the battery from the power tool be-
u
fore carrying out work on the power tool (e.g.
maintenance, changing tool, etc.). The bat-
tery should also be removed for transport and
storage. There is risk of injury from unintention-
ally pressing the on/off switch.
Inserting the application tool
Pull the locking sleeve (3) towards the front and
then push the application tool all the way into the
tool holder (2). The application tool is automatic-
ally locked.
Removing
English
Pull the locking sleeve (3) forward and remove the
application tool.
Dust/Chip Extraction

it on. Insert the charged battery (7) into the
handle until you feel it engage and it is flush with
the handle.
Setting the rotational direction (see figure C)
The rotational direction switch (8) is used to
change the rotational direction of the power tool.
However, this is not possible while the on/off
switch (9) is being pressed.
Right rotation: To drill and to drive in screws,
press the rotational direction switch (8) through to
the left stop.
Left Rotation: To loosen and unscrew screws and
nuts, press the rotational direction switch (8)
through to the right stop.
Preselecting the Torque
English
The torque presetting ring (4) can be used to
preselect the required torque in 20 stages. When
the correct setting is used, the application tool will
be stopped when the screw is driven flush into the
material or once the set torque has been reached.
In position
the overload clutch is deactivated,
e.g. for drilling.
When unscrewing screws, you can select a higher
setting or set the tool to the
Mechanical gear selection
