Operating
instructions
1- Before first operation, remove the tape from the cable reel.
2- The value of emitted sound pressure measured in scale A
from the operator position is lower than 70dB.
3- Required power source: voltage 230V ± 10%, frequency 50Hz
± 1%.
4- The lifting tackle can be used at room temperatures between
0° C and 40° C, with a relative humidity under 85% and below
1000 meters above sea level.
5- Shipping and storage temperature of the lifting tackle may not
be below -25° C or over 55° C. Maximum temperature may not
exceed 70° C.
6- The user must lift the loads from the ground using the
minimum available speed in the lifting tackle. The load must be
packed tightly while lifting from the ground.
7- The lifting tackle's electric engine has a thermostat switch for
its protection. During operation, the lifting tackle may stop; It will
only resume operation after a cooling period.
8- The lifting tackle's electric engine does not have a rated
capacity limiter. If it is not possible to lift a load, do not try again
and let the engine cool down. This means the load exceeded the
lifting tackle's rated capacity.
9- Do not leave a load lifted by the lifting tackle unattended,
unless proper precautions have been taken.
10- Install a 10A overload circuit breaker in the electric supply circuit to protect the
electric system.
11- Do not use limit switches routinely to stop the machine. These are only emergency
devices.
12- Before operating, make sure the steel wire is properly rolled in the cable reel, and
that the distance between the wires is equal to the cable's diameter (see Figure B.)
49
13- Check that the load is properly attached to the lifting hook or return pulley and keep
your distance from the load and the steel wire.
1- Check if the kill switch is pushed. Turn the red top switch to the right to hook.
2- Press the
button to lift the load.
3- Press the
button to lower the load.
4- For the superior limit system, if the lifted load is near its highest position, the limit
block will pull a lever up. This will drive an engine switch and the lifting movement will
stop.
5- For the inferior limit system, if the load is near its lowest position (approximately two
spins around the reel), the inferior limit arm (4) will move. This will drive an engine
switch and the lowering movement will stop. If the wire movement is not the one shown
by the controllers, which is caused by the lateral wire keeping the wire down, the
inferior limit system may also be triggered.
6- Push the button to stop the machine. In case of emergency, immediately press the
red kill switch to stop the machine.
