CAUTION! To protect against injury before all work on the machine:
- Switch Off the machine.
- Wait until all rotating parts have come to a standstill.
- Pull out the mains plug.
- Leave motor to cool down (approx. 30 minutes).
1. Cleaning
CAUTION! Do not splash the machine with water; otherwise electric components may be damaged.
- Clean the machine after every use. Failure to clean the appliance can damage the materials and cause
malfunctions.
- Handle the machine with care and clean it regularly to prolong its service life.
- Keep the ventilation slots clean and dust-free. Periodically blow out all air passages with dry compressed air.
- Clean the machine with a damp cloth and a soft brush. NEVER use solvents to clean plastic parts. They could
possibly dissolve or damage the material.
- Clean the cutting and discharge area of all objects which could block the blades.
2. Transportation
- Stop the engine.
- Pull out mains plug.
- Grip the unit by the handle (5) on the hopper and tilt backwards, and then carefully pull the unit.
- When transporting the machine in or on a vehicle, ensure that it cannot move around unintentionally.
3. Storage
- Clean the machine.
- Keep the machine only in clean and dry rooms when the engine is cold.
- During prolonged storage, e.g.in winter, ensure that the machine is protected against rust: wipe them all down
with an oiled cloth (resin-free oil) or apply an oil spray.
4. Trouble shooting
Faults which occur while you are using your machine often have simple causes which you should know and should
be able to rectify yourself.

Problem
The machine does not start.
Material to be cut is not
pulled in.

Overload protection has switched off.
Cutter deck is in reverse.
Material is too soft.

Solution
- Check the cable, and the plug.
- Check the fuse.
- Contact our After Sales
Service.
- Extension cable min. 1.5 mm²,
max. 25 m long.
- For longer cable, cross section
min. 2.5 mm².
- Eliminate the blockage.
- Press the overload protection
switch.
- Switch Off, switch the direction
to the forwards position.
- Use wood to push through, or
dry branches and twigs.
