4. Use
The machine is designed to be used by only
one operator. It should not be used by two
operators at the same time.
The operator should will always stand in front
of the controls, by the area of entrance of the
material to be cut.
The machine should not be put in operation if
it is not correctly anchored on its four legs.
4.1. START-UP
ATTENTION! Before the starting up the machi-
ne for the first time, the following is necessary:
Supervise the mechanical adjustments and
make sure of the tightening of the same.
Check the voltage of the electricity
supply.
Make sure that the earth connection is
correctly connected.
Check that the turning direction of the
motor is appropriate.
Make sure that all the elements of the
machine are correctly installed.
Additionally, the following safety measures
should be taken in order to prevent accidents:
– Keep the working position clean and free
of clutter.
– Make sure that the machine is correctly
anchored and levelled.
– Check that the motor turning direction is
the same as that indicated on the upper
cover.
– Check that the blade turning direction is
the same as that indicated in the upper
cover.
Operate the start-up switch (green colour) of
the cutter motor.

OPERATION IF THE COVERS
ARE NOT CORRECTLY PLACED
4.2. STOP
Before stopping the machine, make sure that
the material has been fully unloaded.
Operate the stop switch (red). The motor has a
brake, which acts in an immediate way.
In the event of an emergency, there is easy
access to the stop switch in the machine con-
trol board.
Whenever the machine is out of service, the
electric supply should be disconnected.
ATTENTION
In order to maintain the efficiency of the
machine and avoid periods of 'out of service'
we recommend following the maintenance ins-
tructions meticulously.
