Attention
Pay attention to the following safety matters when using the heater:
1. Educate or instruct your child and/or infirmed person(s) not to use the heater
alone.
2 Do not leave any inflammable goods near the heater.
3 The power system should be able to carry a minimum of 16-amp 220-240V
circuit for an EPT800 series heater.
THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE REVIEWED AND ADHERED TO PRIOR TO
INSTALLING HEATER. COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING WILL YIELD
SATISFACTORY HEATER OPERATION AND MINIMIZE EQUIPMENT COSTS.
The heater is carefully packed and shipped in good condition. If you find shipping
damages, please notify the dealer immediately.
Remove all packing materials both inside and outside the heater before using it.
This heater is not designed for industrial use.
The heater should be installed on flat and solid grounds.
Allow at least two meters of space on the top of the heater, minimum clearances of
two meters from heater to any surface.
GROUNDING/EARTHING INSTRUCTIONS
The heater must be electrically grounded/earthed and properly polarized
before use. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding/earthing reduces
the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.
This heater is equipped with a grounding/earthing plug. The electric power system
must be able to carry a minimum of 16-amp 220V-240V circuit for an EPT800
series heater and the electric power outlet must be properly installed and
grounded/earthed in accordance with all applicable electric and safety codes.
For proper operation, no other appliance should be on the same electric circuit as
this heater. Consult a duly qualified and experienced electrical technician if the
grounding/earthing instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as
to whether this heater is properly and electrically grounded/earthed.
EXTENSION CORDS
Avoid overloading the electric circuit. Avoid using extension cords. This heater is
supplied with a pre-wired electric plug and electrical flex of a suitable length. It is
