3. Instructions for use

Please carefully read these instructions prior to
start-up and use. Refer to the illustrations on the front
flap on the inside.
Failure to comply may result in injuries and/or
damages to your property.
The fire light TWISTFIRE NEW GENERATION can be
used indoors and outdoors in compliance with the
following instructions for use.
3.1. Information about a safe location
Observe the respective valid local and national
regulations regarding the set-up of ethanol fireplaces.
For your TWISTFIRE NEW GENERATION, choose an open
location and maintain at least 1 metre of distance from
flammable materials like home textiles, upholstery,
shelves or cabinets. Remember that curtains can be
moved by draughts and may come dangerously close
to your TWISTFIRE NEW GENERATION. Please be sure to
maintain a sufficient distance in this regard.
In particular during start-up and operation, place
your TWISTFIRE NEW GENERATION on a level, horizontal
and stable base. The bearing capacity should be at
least 50 kg. Do not place any flammable objects on
the appliance.

3.2. Information about safe use

Please note: The TWISTFIRE NEW GENERATION is a
decorative fireplace for private use in your home or
outdoors. It should not be used for heating purposes.

Assembling the base body

Remove all of the packaging materials prior to
assembly. Review the package contents. Should
individual parts be damaged or the delivery is
incomplete, do not operate your TWISTFIRE NEW
GENERATION. Get in touch with your speciality retailer
or the Auerhahn service department.
Place your fireplace on a level, horizontal and
stable base.

Assembly
Screw the stainless steel base body onto the glass
base plate by screwing the threaded bolt on the under-
side of the base body to the screw nut located
in the plastic plate.
Do not apply strong pressure. The connection is
established when the three stands of the base body
are touching the glass plate.

Opening the tank
Open the cap of the stainless steel tank with a slight
counter-clockwise turn.
Once the two arrows are facing each other, you can
open the cap.

Filling the tank
You can safely fill the tank through the large opening
using commercial containers. Please note that the fill
level must not exceed the indicated
on the inside of the tank.
