Secure rear door of roll-off box.
Step 9
A sampling tap should be installed near the
Geotube ® MDS. The sludge should be
sampled to insure that the chemicals are
functioning properly. If an adequate floc
has not formed at this point, the chemical
dosage may have to be adjusted to achieve
the desired results.
Step 11
Allow the Geotube ® MDS to dewater and
repeat the filling and dewatering process
several times. Expect to reach the
maximum weight which your carrier can
carry over the highway before you fill the
unit to capacity.
Step 8
To maximize dewatering and volume
reduction, sludge should be chemically
conditioned with a coagulant and/or a
flocculant. Consult your local supplier
for type and dosage.
Step 10
Once the desired floc is achieved, fill the
Geotube
the unit.
Step 12
The Geotube
landfill where it is unloaded intact.
Check with your local landfill authorities
for procedures.
