STEP 1 • Holding the support bar of the
Ultra-Dog security device, push handle
forward to open position (Fig. 4).
STEP 2 • Align the hook assemblies with
the attachment blocks and raise the Ultra-
Dog until the top surface of the hooks
contacts the attachment block pin (Fig.
5).
STEP 3 • Pull the Ultra-Dog handle out-
ward from the door so that the Ultra-Dog
handle rests in the center position (Fig.
4).
STEP 4 • Supporting the Ultra-Dog, ad-
just the hex head bolt on each endblock
using a
9
/
" wrench (Fig. 6) until the inside

surface of the hooks come in contact with
the pin of the attachment blocks (Fig. 7).
Adjustment in a clockwise direction will
retract the hooks; counterclockwise ad-
justment will extend the hooks.
STEP 5 • Once adjusted, pull the handle
outward away from the door so that the
handle rests in the locked position (Fig.
4). This action will pull the door against
the Ultra-Dog, locking the Ultra-Dog in
place.
When properly adjusted, there should be
no movement in the door or in the Ultra-
Dog security device. If movement ex-
ists, support the Ultra-Dog and return
the handle to the center position.
Adjust the hex head bolts clock-
wise in small increments and re-
turn the handle to the locked posi-
tion each time until no movement
exists.
Do not overtighten. When you
push the handle to the open po-
sition, the Ultra-Dog should dis-
engage and fall freely.

ÉTAPE 2 • Aligner les crochets avec les
blocs d'attache et lever l'Ultra-Dog jusqu'à
ce que la surface supérieure du crochet
touche la goupille des blocs d'attache
(Fig. 5).
ÉTAPE 3 • Tirer le levier de l'Ultra-Dog en
arrière afin que il reste dans la position
centrale (Fig. 4).
ÉTAPE 4 • Tenant l'Ultra-Dog, ajuster le
boulon hexagonale sur chaque bloc de
bout utilisant la clef de
(Fig. 6) jusqu'à ce que la surface intérieure

des crochets se contacte avec la goupille
des blocs d'attache (Fig. 7). L'ajustement
dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre
fait serrer le crochet; l'ajustement dans
le sens inverse fait avancer le crochet.
ÉTAPE 5 • Une fois ajusté, tirer le levier
en arrière de la porte afin que le levier
reste dans la position fermée ou barrée.
(Fig. 4). Cette action fait tirer la porte
contre l'Ultra-Dog et fixer l'Ultra-Dog en
place.
Proprement ajusté, il ne devrait être
aucun mouvement ni dans la porte ni
dans le mécanisme de l'Ultra-Dog. S'il y
a du mouvement, tenir l'Ultra-Dog et
retourner le levier à la position centrale
pour ajuster les boulons à tête hexagonale
par de petits incréments au point où il n'y
ait plus de mouvement.
Ne pas trop serrer les crochets. Quand
on pousse le levier dans la position
ouverte, l'Ultra-Dog devrait se dégager
complètement et tomber librement.
PASO 1 • Sosteniendo la barra de soporte

PASO 4 • Soportando el Ultra-Dog, ajuste
el tornillo hexagonal usando una llave

parte interior del gancho haga contacto
con la espiga de los bloques de enlace.
(Fig. 7). El ajuste en el sentido de la
manecilla del reloj retracta los ganchos;
el sentido opuesto de la manecilla del
reloj extende los ganchos.
PASO 5 • Una vez ajustado tire la palanca
hacia afuera de la puerta para que la
palanca reste en posición de cerradura.
(Fig. 4). Esta acción empuja la puerta
contra el marco, poniendo el Ultra-Dog
en lugar de cerradura.
Propriamente ajustado, no debe de haber
ningún movimiento en la puerta o en el
sistema Ultra-Dog. Si existe algún
movimiento sostenga el Ultra-Dog y
retorne la palanca a la posición central
para ajustar el tornillo con pequeños
incrementos hasta que no existe ningún
movimiento.
No ajuste demasiado los ganchos.
Cuando empuja la palanca en posición
