Maintain water's condition according to

Observe limitations of use in damp loca-
radiators".
Use radiator only in closed heating systems.
Store and transport radiator only in the
protective packaging.
Make allowance for minimum clearances
between the radiator and adjacent parts
for air circulation: 50 mm.
For electrical accessory operation:
Take protective areas according to DIN VDE
0100-701 into account. Also follow all local
regulations.
Operate the heating element only with the
voltage approved (see rating plate).

Contact the supplier.
Disposal
Packaging and any parts that are not need-
ed should be recycled or disposed of prop-
erly. Observe local regulations.

Installation
With the heating element (IDV11) installed po-
sition the radiator in such a way that the cable
is not kinked or damaged.
Preliminaries (see Fig. 1–9)
For electrical accessory operation make sure
that a connector socket (230 V, fuse protec-
tion 16 A) installed according to regulation
is present within the range of the cable.
Check the delivery for completeness and
damage.
Preposition requisite tools.
When installing, only remove protective
packaging at the fastening and connection
points.

right ex works (see Fig. A).
set screws on the connecting pieces.
Screw the converter tightly onto the con-
necting pieces.
Screw the air vent plug in.
Screw long fastening screws into the upper
sleeves and tighten.
Screw spacer bolts into the lower sleeves
and tighten.
For electrical accessory operation: Tighten
the heating element with 20 Nm tighten-
ing torque.
If any accessories are supplied, e.g. towel
rod, install (see separate instructions).
Mark drilling positions (see Fig. A).
Drill holes and seat dowel.
Screw the lock screws in the wall brackets
out and pull the holders out.
Fasten the wall brackets with Allen screws.
On doing so pay attention to the position
of the hole.
Insert the holders in the wall brackets. On
doing so pay attention to the position of
the openings.
Fasten the holders with the lock screws just
be adjusted for alignment.
