Al ser conectada a la red de alimentación eléctrica, la luminaria carga sus baterías y vigila el valor de la tensión de red. Cuando ocurre un fallo de red, la luminaria pasa a
estado de emergencia.
Se ofrecen varios tipos de luminarias según su funcionamiento:
- No permanente: ...A Una lámpara que se enciende sólo en emergencia.
- Permanente: P...A Una lámpara que se enciende en presencia de red y en emergencia.
Realizan dos tipos de test de forma automática:
- Test funcional (cada 30 días): consiste en simular un fallo de red y comprobar el funcionamiento de la lámpara de emergencia.
- Test de autonomía (cada 3 meses): pone la luminaria en emergencia y registra la autonomía conseguida.
La luminaria informa de su estado mediante un piloto bicolor.

Si la luminaria dispone de conexión de telemando, conectándole un telemando Duisa, se pueden configurar las luminarias por medio del pulsador del telemando. La tensión
de telemando que llega a una luminaria Duisa debe estar entre los márgenes: [ON: ≥ 9V y ≤ 25V] ; [OFF: ≥ -25V y ≤ -9V].

Precauciones
- Toda operación de instalación, mantenimiento o reparación debe ser realizada por personal cualificado.
- La tensión nominal, la autonomía, características de las lámparas y de batería están marcadas en la luminaria.
- Antes de conectar la luminaria verificar que la tensión de la red eléctrica de distribución se corresponde con la especificada en la luminaria.
- Antes de realizar cualquier operación de instalación o mantenimiento, asegurarse de que la luminaria está sin tensión de alimentación y en posición de reposo.
- Se recomienda no cubrir la luminaria con material aislante o similar.
- Si cablea la línea de telemando no la deje en circuito abierto (al aire). Conecte un telemando Duisa o cortocircuite el positivo y negativo de la línea de telemando.
- Tiempo almacenamiento <3 meses antes de conexión a red y energización. Temperatura almacenamiento >5º <35ºC.

Mantenimiento
- El mantenimiento debe ser realizado según norma EN 50172.
- Las luminarias autónomas de emergencia disponen de una batería. Debe ser reemplazada por otra de sus mismas características cuando la luminaria no satisfaga su
autonomía nominal. Tras cambio de batería, la luminaria lanza un Test de autonomía (máximo 72h) para que se actualice la señalización de la luminaria.
- Las lámparas LED tienen polaridad. No intercambiar entre modelos. Tras cambio de lámpara, la luminaria lanza un Test funcional (máximo 48h) para que se actualice la
señalización de fallo de la luminaria.
- La limpieza exterior ha de realizarse sólo con un paño humedecido en agua.

As they are connected to the mains, the luminaires charge their batteries and monitor the amount of voltage. When a mains failure occurs, the luminaire goes into emergency
mode.
Various types of luminaires are available according to their use:
- Non-maintained: ...A lamp that only lights up in emergencies.
- Maintained: P... A lamp that lights up with mains voltage and emergency.
They perform two types of tests automatically:
- Functional test (every 30 days): consists of simulating a mains failure and checking the operation of the emergency lamp.
- Duration test (every 3 months): set the luminaire to emergency mode and check the duration time given.

If the luminaire has remote control connection, connecting a Duisa remote control the luminaires can be configured pushing the button of the remote control. The remote
control voltage that reaches a Duisa luminaire must be between the margins: [ON: ≥ 9V and ≤ 25V]; [OFF: ≥ -25V and ≤ -9V].

Cautions
- The nominal voltage, duration, characteristics of the lamps and battery are displayed on the luminaire itself.
- Any installation, maintenance or repair operations must be carried out by qualified personnel.
- Before connecting the luminaire, check that the mains voltage matches that specified on the luminaire.
- Before any installation or maintenance operation make sure that the luminaire is disconnected from the mains and is in rest mode.
- It is recommended not to cover the luminaires with insulating material or similar.
- If the remote control unit line is wired, you should not leave the circuit opened. Connect a Duisa remote control unit or short circuit the positive and negative control
terminals of the remote control line.
- Storage time <3 months before mains connection and energized. Storage temperature >5º <35ºC.
- Photometric date available in: www.duisa.com. Keep these instructions.
Maintenance
- The maintenance must be carried out in accordance to standard EN 50172.
- Self-contained emergency luminaires are provided with a battery. The batteries must be replaced by others with the same characteristics when the luminaire does not reach
its rated duration. After changing the battery, the luminaire begins a Duration test (maximum 72h) to update the luminaire signalling.
- LED lamps have polarity. Do no exchange between models. After changing the lamp, the luminaire begins a Functional test (maximum 48h) to update the luminaire's fault
signalling.
- Clean the outside of the luminaire using a damp cloth.
