1.10 Risks
The following risks cannot be fully ruled out when working with the lifting
unit:
• Risks when handling heavy loads.
• Risks of feet being crushed beneath loads when the driver is in his
normal operating position.
• Risk when loading the lifting table with heavy loads.
• Risk of toppling over sideways.
• Crash, shearing and catch points.
2 Safety equipment
2.1 Stop plug in cylinder connection.
Restricts the flow if a hydraulic line breaks.
2.2 Brake valve (where present).
Fixed limitation of the flow (lowering speed).
2.3 One-way restrictor (where present).
Adjustable limitation of the flow (lowering speed)
Caution! Setting depends on load!
2.4 Bellows (where present).
Prevents people reaching below the raised platform
2.5 Wheel lock (mobile units only)
The wheel locks prevent any accidental
movement of the machine.
2.6 Contact strip (where present).
If the contact strip interrupts lowering after touching an
obstacle, press the "Raise" key briefly, remove the obstacle
and complete lowering
